So, a little about me; I'm Carlos, and art’s always been part of my life. From a very young age, music drew me to the drums, while filmmaking became my career passion. I studied Audiovisual Media in Colombia and Argentina, focusing on commercial production. For more than 15 years, I worked as an advertising director, collaborating with agencies such as MullenLowe, Leo Burnett, BBDO, Proximity, Publicis, DDB, and Saatchi & Saatchi. I also explored sound post-production, producing music for brands.
The final stage of my career focused on directing music videos, merging both worlds and working with major record labels such as Sony Music, Universal Music, Neon16, and Warner Music Group.
So why event photography? Two honest reasons brought me here. The first… simple: change. After nearly two decades in the same place, I needed a new horizon. The second: documentary photography has always been on my mind. While some look down on event photography, for me it’s another form of documentary art, where I’ve found a blend of my tastes and talents
I transform everything that inspires me… and much more, into images. At every cultural, social, or corporate event, I capture the essence of people and the unique moments that make them unforgettable. Years of working with agencies, musicians, and artists have taught me how to blend creativity, professionalism, and each client’s vision seamlessly. I live in Madrid, the perfect place to capture stories that deserve to be seen.
